Copenhagen Theatre Circle is proud to present Aladdin and his Wonderful Lamp to Danish audiences, once again bringing the family tradition of English pantomime to Denmark. Everyone knows the fairy tale Aladdin, the much loved story about a poor boy who overcomes all and wins the heart of a princess. But do you know the pantomime version? British Christmas pantomime is always based on a traditional fairy story, with songs, dance, buffoonery, slapstick, cross-dressing, in-jokes and audience participation. With Pongo the Pantomime Panda, flying carpets, genial genies, brilliant musical numbers and fabulous costumes, the CTC’s original production of Aladdin brings you something for the whole family and all ages from 5 to 95!
