Quinns is a fusion based Irish restaurant based on appreciation of Irish music and culture and mythology.
The Quinns concept, has gone through some major changes since the origional concept started. It has ended up to be an amalgamation of concepts, which we believe will offer a wide range of food and music services to the "eat out" public of Copenhagen.
Over the past year we have endeavored to pin point the areas, which we believe to be lacking within the food services industry and through this, develop our concept to encourage a higher level of service in the appropiate areas. Those areas being;
Quality and speed of service
Quality of food and beverage
Appropiate costing, ie: ensuring that good quality food is served to the highest standards.
Conveyance of Irish culture to the Danish public.
Through analysis of various eating establishments within the Danish and Irish areas of the Copenhagen City, we were particularly drawn to the lack of quality and service which is offered to diners at the low to mid level priced restaurants within the city center. It would seem that this area has trended towards a high priced, yet lowly serviced area, especially when one runs comparisons with other cities with the same demographics and population size. With that in mind we have set up training programmes to ensure on proper staff training. The levels which need to be attained by staff, should, be to such a level that they could work in any 5 star hotel restaurant. Expedience of service being a major factor to be ensured upon whilst maintaining the highest levels.
The dishes served have been designed with Irish dishes in mind but fused with ingredients from various other culinary cultures from around the world. We believe this will give a unique taste experience, which is not to be found anywhere else in Copenhagen. We will also strive to ensure that every person, weather they be a vegetarian or an avid fish dish lover, is catered too with the menu's which are created over the coming years.
Our pricing will be made to ensure that everyone can enjoy fine dining standards and not just the elite.
We also aim to provide live Irish folk music after the last service on at least 4 nights of the week.
We have gone through an extensive wine selection process with denmarks top wine importers and have decided just to run with New World wines. To be more specific, we will only stock wines from South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and the U.S.A. The exact wines will be kept secret until opening night.
