Audacious and authentic Chinese food!

I lived in China a few years ago and have travelled all over the country so it has often been a frustration for me that the kind of fare on offer in Denmark pales into comparison against the real thing. But Kewei's Kitchen is the best I have seen for emulating real Chinese food with the slow-cooked pork belly and tea-infused egg as close to the famous 'Hong shao rou' dish as I have seen in Western Europe. Absolutely yummy! The cheese and Chinese chive dumplings were also a surprise combining a classic western staple with a subtle oriental flavour that is full of flavour. I also tried the classic spiced chicken noodle salad coated in sesame paste and again, was thrilled at the fusion of flavours and texture taking me back to the Beijing back alleys where all the truly best food could be found. Kewei's Kitchen is only in town for a few weekends at Kødbyen mad og marked so if you want to get a handle on how exciting real Chinese food can be, then this is the place to go. Thoroughly recommended!
