Jazz and wines. En trio, der dyrker den spinkle, intime og åbne lyd. En trio, der ikke er bange for, at lade musikken hvile i sig selv, men samtidig formå, at skære alt overflødigt væk.

The compositions are characterized by a love for many different genres and cultures, such as hip hop, jazz, Balkan and folk music. All of these seamlessly fused together creating a fresh and original musical expression. Most of the songs are very ostinato- and groove based, which gives the music a very physical and sometimes even meditative quality.

Despite the many different inspirational sources the musical expression is always coherent, kept together by the tight and minimalistic interplay of the three musicians.

Above all Støv is a band without pretension, ‘allowing the music just to be’.
