Katrine Ring and Stephan Bomberg will be mixing classic music every Wednesday at the Avenue Hotel. Avenue Hotel served brunch to classic music with great success last year. Now the DJ’s, Katrine Ring and Stephen Bomberg, will be mixing classic music every Wednesday evening for you. Chill out to magnificent music in our relaxing lounge, where you will find magazines, newspapers, interesting wines, specially imported coffees and delicate foods, and last but not least our new cocktail “Yellow Lounge”…. whatever your mood dictates. Yellow Lounge is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and everyday life. Enjoy a Wednesday night in the company of your friends and great music –where it is also possible to carry on a conversation.

TODAY'S STEPHAN BOMBERG
Stephan has a university degree in musicology and has worked as a DJ for the past 10 years. In the area of classical music he has among other things been a resident DJ for the alternative classical institutions “Classy Mondays” (Copenhagen) and “ Reload Classics” (Aarhus) and he has also created classical DJ sets for the National Art Gallery, Charlottenborg, the Wundergrund Festival and the Holy Trinity Night Church. Stephan also functions as a musical consultant for theatre performances and has a long history of productions with Katrine Wiedemann as director – including Reumert Prize winners such as “Havfruen (The Mermaid)”, “Faust” and “Drømmespil (Dream Games”). Musically he tries hard to make classical music relevant to a modern audience – amongst other things by displaying its rich melodiousness and strong emotions, which along the way are mixed together with electronic ambient or acoustic jazz into a journey of discovery with picture creating moods.
