This international quartet plays music based on a traditional jazz but with a contemporary sound. Musicians are influenced by many jazz musical styles – from bebop to free jazz and even by classical and folk music. The wines and the tapas are Argentinean

This international project came into existence in the fall 2010 in Denmark. The Czech saxophone player Lubos Soukup moved to Denmark to study Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium in Copenhagen after he had graduated from Polish Music Academy in Katowice. In Denmark, he met the Swedish piano player Oscar Grönberg, who is living in Norway now. They found out they have the same passion for music (besides traveling, reading french books and eating spicy meals). After a certain time they found the bass player Joel Illerhaag, who is another Swedish musician in the band. It is surprising that so burning player can be also a quiet and patient fisherman. The last member of the group is the Danish drummer Morten Haesum, who is well known by his daring bike rides with his drumset.

He plays mostly the tenor and soprano saxophone and the clarinet. He writes music mostly for quartets or quintets but also for larger ensembles and big bands.

He graduated from the special jazz department “VOS of Jaroslav Jezek” in Prague. He studied Akademia Muzyczna K.Szymanowskiego in Katowice, Poland. He has been studying Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, Denmark since 2010. He has learned a lot from excellent professors like David Doruzka, Django Bates, Jaromir Honzak, Tony Malaby, Piotr Wojtasik, etc.

He manages two projects – his own quartet (with Oscar Grönberg – piano, Joel Illerhag – bass, Morten Hæsum – drums) and quartet Points (with Miroslav Hloucal – trumpet, Petr Dvorsky – bass, Tomas Hobzek – drums).
He is a member of International quintet(Kadziela, Kristan, Illerhag, Sorenson), Bucinatores Orchestra, Czech-polish quintet Inner Spaces, A.K.T. He cooperates with Petr Zelenka, Albert Vila, Milan Svoboda, Jonathan Crossley, Nikola Kolodziejczyk.

He took part in several international festivals, for example Jazz festival in Monterey, California, Jazz Hoeillart in Belgium, Getxo Jazz in Spain, Jazz upon Odra in Wroclaw, Jazz festival in Afyon in Turkey, etc.
