These are the nominees and the winner of Best Service in Copenhagen 2012
When cold rain has been falling for months and the winter snow has knocked all the wind out of the city’s balconies … who you gonna call? Altanalferne! These guys have specialised in bringing nature into the city. Using only flower seeds, nesting boxes for birds and wild plants they revive your balcony to such an extent, that you would never look for another place to enjoy your afternoon cup of coffee.
Wardrobe 19, Larsbjørnsstræde 19, 1454 København K
Everything is not to everyone’s taste in this little store in Larsbjørnsstræde, and that is the way it is supposed to be. The selection of clothes in here is a reflection of the owner’s personal wardrobe favourites and this store doesn’t try to be anything else – or more – than it is. This is evident in the service, which is always impeccable and honest.
When the waves are rolling in, the sun is in its apex and the stomach starts growling, a trip to the supermarket can seem almost endless. That is why Sommergrill out of Ricky’s Kitchen, who will deliver a complete set of grill, meats and accompaniments straight to Bryggen or Amager Strandpark, is an obvious nominee for best service in the city.
Disney Store, Amagertorv 80, 1160 København K
It is not just the children that feel pampered in the marvellous Disney Store on Amagertorv. Here the staff members receive training in great customer service, and none of them will come to work without a big smile and a mental uniform of impeccable customer service.
