This popular bar has been Kødbyen’s (The Meatpacking District) hot spot since its opening in 2010. It is hard to find another place in the capital more summery and brimming with flirting smiles than under the Chinese lanterns on Bakken’s patio.

Scandinavian’s biggest club party was held for the seventh time the seventh of August on seven different arenas, where the thousands of guests were invited to party for eleven hours straight, or in this case until the sun came up, in the purposely-built ship container party town. A party tour de force.

In the late summer of 2010 a new nightclub opened in the inner city of Copenhagen. Simons really kicks off every weekend, has a pretty strict door policy and Copenhagen’s only real dwarf bar (yes, that is actually possible!) to boot. This is where you need to go, if you want to share the dance floor with the crown prince.

The Coma parties kicked off the Copenhagen club scene back in the days, when clubbing was just finding its legs in Denmark. Now the comas are back, popping up here and there in the form of colourful and sometimes quite raunchy party explosions such as this year’s most hyped party: the New Year’s Eve party at Toldboden.
