" As a past inhabitant of Copenhagen, whom still occasionally stops by for the customary check-up-on-your-left-behinf-friends visit, Paté Paté is undoubtedly one of my top places for reminiscing on past adventures and talking about coming ones over a glass of wine. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the menu changes allow really nice combinations of starters, main couses, salads to suit anyone´s palat and pickiness - also, if you somehow feel overwhelmened by the daunting dimension of the wine menu, just ask the waiter they´re normally pretty good at mixin´n´matching! Another feature I like was live jazz, the flexibility of the menu and the quality of the starters - sometimes I stoped by for a glass of wine with some friends, but if hunger strickes, you can always just ask for some starters instead of having to do a full blown out meal...really nice feature I thought!
from what I´ve gather from all the visits the menu changes quite a bit and normally has a seasonal flair that I really like - nothing like autumn food for autumn confort, and fresh seafood to accompany those long and bright scandinavian summers, right?!?
I always really liked that its sort of a "french bristro à la Copenhague" and the unpretentious atmosphere while still paying homage to danish specialities (I have a particular soft spot for the fish). The atmosphere offers a pretty nice contrast to many of the other places in the very trendy Copenhagen meet packing district that are often more about appearance rather than content. All the times I´ve been there A positive point somewhat reinforced by the friendly service and the nice brunches and the good coffee...which btw is, in my view, the other great feature of this place: you can stop for breakfast, lunch, coffee or dinner - with the liberty of transforming a good cup of coffee in good company in a nice glass of wine in good company :)!
Seriously a great place very much worth the visit if you´re copenhagen and struggling to navigate the overcrowded gastronimical market of the city...its a great place with great atmosphere! "
