First thing first: what these people is offering: loud and clear:We downgrade service in order to deliver better goods: And it is well accomplish.
Monday night, 20.00, upstairs almost full.Capacity around 70 guests.2+1 working on the floor, and 4 in the kitchen.Morten on the door, guiding us to the table.Sweet.
The guys on the floor were running like Forrest Gump, not much of a choice really, but they did with a great smile.
We have decided to take on the 4 different starters.White aspargus, fresh, light and tasty as a white aspargus can be,roget laks, not to be impress about, but certainly did the job as it needed, the skinke which was hand cut, approved nicely pulling my cholesterols levels far beyond my doctors recommendation, nice! and finaly the hummer soup. Good. We were on the right track
When the meat was to be decided, again we took all the options: house steak--so we try strait the 300 dkk menu, a 350 gr rib eye (+ 50 dkk), a 350 gram kalvekotelet (+50 dkk) and me, the cannibal the 750 gram T bone,
We have order all medium rare.
All was served as requested, at the right temperature and cooked points. Bravo there.Quality:Very good. All this combined with all the sauces offered. Bearnaise and redwine sauces, need to be re check. Kind of impression been there done that. Thanks and move on.
Side dishes: Pommes frites are pomme frites. No further comments. The carrots were also carrots, again, no commets there.Im not in this house to evaluate the carrots or the salad, but rather the beef.
Then i had asked for the svampe sauterede, nice and mild, impeccable done, and boring as a social democracy.Not to the left, not the right, they dont bother no body.
The deserts: pls put the stress there. Take a bad song and make it better. The triffly med rabarbar + økøflode could be served at DSB main pølser menu...You want to forget that desssert, fast pls. The cheese cake. Do i really want and describe this thing? no thanks.
We have order house wine, 3 bottles of mineral water, 3 coffeas and a extra side order of tomatoes. And the upgrades mentioned before
Total bill 1750,- dkk
Summarizing: Fairly priced, good service, very good and tasty meet. They do the job in a great manner. Worth to try.

Another thing, with a bit of a PIA touch is your comment about på engelsk-der tales ikke dansk. Amigo, immigrants like me say thanks to you, i dont speak NOTHING in danish, and run blooming business and employ DANISH people to do the talk for me.And i say thanks because that comment make become independent and been self employed.
And a last word, i can certainly say that Holbersgade 19 offers great value for money, its kind and attentive to its customers, absolutely clean bar, and tasty sandwiches.
So if you really want to make a coward comment, keep on being anonymous , otherwise, put your name, email, and give people the RIGHT to answer.

Fredag d. 4. december var den dag, hvor vi implementerede vores nye vinter-menukort. Det resulterede i, hvilket altid er tilfældet, når nye menuer implementeres, at vores mad var forsinket. Dette beklager vi. 100 % vores fejl, så modtag vores beklagelser herfor.
Hvad angår dine kommentarer til 'vores flæskesteg': du må her referere til vores 'cabezada de lomo' (en argentinsk 'rullepølse' i mangel af et mere neutralt ord, der tilberedes af svinebryst, fennikel, nelliker og krydderurter).
Hvad angår rødkålen: vi har ikke rødkål på vores menukort - måske har det været karamelliserede løg med stjerneanis, kanel og en balsamico-reduktion. Men rødkål kan det ikke have været.
Pølsen, du nævner, er en hjemmelavet pølse, der laves efter traditionel argentinsk opskrift (chorizo argentino).
Vinen, du købte med hjem for 95 kroner efter at have betalt 430 kroner i baren..... Vi tillader os her at fortolke dine punktummer som udtrykkende, at det grænser til dårlig stil, eller at du i hvert fald tager ironisk afstand hertil.
Denne service med at tilbyde vores gæster vinen med hjem til, hvad et glas koster, er udelukkende en service, vores gæster får tilbudt, når man har købt en flaske eller et glas hos os. Hvis man køber flasken uden at have besøgt os, kan man ikke købe flasken med hjem til denne pris.
Grunden til, vi tilbyder dette, er faktisk for at give vores gæster en ekstra service - og naturligvis, fordi vi er et vinimportfirma, som gerne vil udbrede kendskabet til vores vin. På denne måde mener vi, at vi både kan gøre vores gæster glade, og at vi kan få udbredt kendskabet til vores sortiment. Er det ikke din oplevelse, så beklager vi også herfor.
Du nævner, at du og din kæreste havde dårlig mave efter at have besøgt os. Vi har aldrig modtaget en klage herfor. Aldrig. Faktisk er vi så sikre i vores sag, at du gerne må tilbringe et par timer i køkkenet sammen med vores kok.
Og egentlig er vi så kede af, at du ikke er 100 % tilfreds med dit besøg hos os, at vi på vores regning gerne vil invitere dig til at prøve vores mad igen - og kokken kommer gerne og præsenterer maden for således at udrydde enhver misforståelse. På denne måde håber vi således, at vi kan forsøge at overbevise dig om, at vi er et besøg værd igen.
